Hello, My name is Yves and I am 45 years old and I will tell you about my weekend in Berry. Everything from starting a June weekend my work stressed me too much and I needed to escape away from everything and find myself alone facing nature.
I wanted a crazy and unusual trip to sleep in a tree house! It must be said that from the road, we cannot guess that there are huts here, it is really only at the last moment, that we discover them!
When I arrive on the places, I must leave my car in the parking lot, and it is my host who accompanies me in an electric cart up to my hut. Embarked on the dirt roads, the place is full of charm. The end-of-day light is magnificent.
My hut, is the most comfortable, hanging 10 meters from the ground there is everything necessary, a bed, a little water, a lamp, a sink, a dry toilet. But especially a terrace I haven’t left all night!
I leave my hut to go for a walk. And only one other hut seems busy, but I keep walking with wonder from hut to hut, into the forest and into the fields. The sun sets and the golden light embellishes the place.
7.30pm: I get my lunch basket delivered hung on the end of a rope that I had to pull up with a pulley, I play it a bit adventurous! On this evening’s menu: local products that I enjoy on my terrace, listening to the birds' song and contemplating nature.
I would like this moment to last again and again. Fortunately, the summer sun sets later and lets me enjoy it a little more!
At night it’s cooler. I go into my cosy little nest and light the candles. I feel wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and at night you can only hear the noise of the foliage and the wood of the hut grinding. That’s a funny feeling.
In the early morning, I wake up slowly with the song of the birds and the sweet light of day. Breakfast is also delivered at the foot of the hut. Coffee, tea, bread, croissant, butter, jam and orange juice! Everything is there to start a good day!
My weekend was by far the most relaxing and unlikely weekend I’ve ever had. It did me a lot of good, and if you liked reading this blog, don’t hesitate to look at other blog so click here.
